*Competitive swimmer since age 4.
*Illinois High School state champion in 200 free, runner-up in the 100 free
*4 year Varsity Letter Winner in swimming at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, team captain senior year
*Competed in over 90 triathlons, running, swimming, and cycling races since 1997.
*4 time qualifier for the World Triathlon Championships, 3x in olympic distance, once in 70.3 – best finish was 8th place
*USAT Certified Coach
*swim coach since ’92 at various places, currently with New Trier Swim Club and as Head Coach of the Glenbrook Aquatics masters team
*proud mother of identical twin girls
